Cask 88 and Daemonologie!
In 2022 Amanda was commissioned by Cask 88 one of the world’s foremost expert brokers in rare and antique whisky, serving clients around the globe from six international locations in Scotland, Singapore, Japan, China, Macau and the Philippines, to launch their limited edition 13 year old single malt ‘Daemonologie’ as part of their Scottish Witchcraft series.
Together the team and Amanda tasted the Whisky and came up with 26 botanical tasting notes, which leading designer Hannah Sneddon turned into Amanda’s very own ‘Whisky Tarot deck’ which Amanda then wrote and curated traditional stories and specialised folklore around.
Over four nights leading up to Hallowe’en the Whisky was launched, with an exclusive evening ‘Witches feast’ and herbal storytelling tarot session and public tasting and 3 evenings of individual tarot and tasting sessions in the World’s smallest Whisky bar in Edinburgh.
